They were simply incredible \u2014 calm, kind, and quietly reassuring from the moment they arrived.They took the time to explain every step to us with such gentleness and compassion. Nothing was rushed, and they made sure that we were entirely ready to let our beautiful boy go. Their care and respect for him \u2014 and for us \u2014 made an unbearably difficult moment feel peaceful and dignified.Carla and Beth showed what true compassion in veterinary care looks like. We\u2019ll always be grateful for the tenderness and understanding they gave to Charlie and our family.Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Alan is certified and qualified to carry out this specialist imaging, not many vets in the UK do this. Alan and his team were very friendly and professional and we got our results back very quickly. The surgery went very well and to be honest Ziggy walked out a few hours later as if nothing had happened! Keeping her calm was the biggest challenge! Very happy with after care too. Over the last few weeks having tests and being well looked after by Becky , Rene and the team I have my bouncing yogi back .Becky and Rene have thoroughly helped , researched and cared for yogi in so many ways , I can\u2019t thank them enough . He gets so nervous at the vets so I was anxious about how he\u2019d be as I had to leave him there to have ultrasound and xrays, but when I picked him up he was calm and had been snuggled up in a cosy blanket 😊 the care is always thorough and everything is explained so clearly. Opened up 3 times to have them removed after being very close to death ... we did say he needed a zip putting in ... and the copious amount s of times we managed to get him to the vets before the socks digested !! His medical record makes a good read as did his x rays x unfortunately 4 weeks ago he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer which we decided not to treat and give palliative care only .... the quality of care was absolutely amazing !! I cannot stress enough how much support we received from all the team at the end x the back room was cleared out and blankets layed on the floor for all of us ... 11 people in total ... so that we could be with him till the end x it was so very sad and we were all distraught but it was as we wanted and it was perfect !!! We were given all the time we needed before and after ,Tissues put out and candles burning , the little things did not go unnoticed . a massive thank you to all in everything you did and said to us to help us through a very sad time xxx<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Their approach to treating animals is truly groundbreaking in the local area. They believe in undertaking diagnostic testing at the earliest stage in order to derive the correct treatment plan. This results in saving both money and many animals lives. Many vets will just send you away to 'see if it develops into anything nasty', by which time it is often too late to treat. They also undertake laparoscopic spays (keyhole) which results in far less invasive surgery and therefore a far quicker recovery time.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The loving care and attention I have had for my two dogs(Sammy and Charlie) has been amazing. In 2013, at the age of 15, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to say \"goodbye\" to Charlie.Alan and Rene allowed me to do this in the most compassionate way. Then last November, Sammy became very poorly, despite the wonderful care he received from Alan and Rene, I had to say \"goodbye\". Rene allowed Sammy to go to sleep in the most peaceful and dignified manner. The support I have been given from all the team has been a truly wonderful experience for which I am very grateful.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We've been through happy times and very sad times, but whatever, the support, care and professionalism has been amazing. Our current two dogs seem to feel like it is a home from home and on the occasions when they have had to stay in for a day, they've been treated as if they belonged to staff. During an awful emergency in the early part of last year, both Alan and Rene went above and beyond normal and have our heartfelt thanks for that.When one of our mice was poorly, she was treated with the utmost care and respect, even though it was to no avail. All went well with the removal of the eye but Thomas developed few more problems mainly to do with his eating at one point Thomas was visiting probably more than once a week every effort was put into helping him. Thomas is now doing well and I have my much loved cat back thanks to Potton Vets. Would not go elsewhere !<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
