At Potton Vets we recognise that home visits are important for people and their pets and try to make it easy for our clients to arrange a home visit – arrange an appointment by using the form on this page – we’ll call you back!

How does the service work?

Our vet will come to your home at a mutually convenient time.

We will talk with you and explain exactly what will happen during the time we are with you and make this the gentlest procedure possible for your pet.

If a more complicated investigation or treatment is needed, we can take your pet to our full-service RCVS registered surgery, complete the necessary diagnostics and treatment and return your pet to you.

My dog gunner a gorgeous golden lab .... very well known to Alan and Renee over the the last 12 years for his unlucky mishaps ... his car accidents ... his collapsed lung ....both his back legs with crucia ligaments and not to forget his fetish for socks !!! Opened up 3 times to have them removed after being very close to death ... we did say he needed a zip putting in ... and the copious amount s of times we managed to get him to the vets before the socks digested !! His medical record makes a good read as did his x rays x unfortunately 4 weeks ago he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer which we decided not to treat and give palliative care only .... the quality of care was absolutely amazing !! I cannot stress enough how much support we received from all the team at the end x the back room was cleared out and blankets layed on the floor for all of us ... 11 people in total ... so that we could be with him till the end x it was so very sad and we were all distraught but it was as we wanted and it was perfect !!! We were given all the time we needed before and after ,Tissues put out and candles burning , the little things did not go unnoticed . a massive thank you to all in everything you did and said to us to help us through a very sad time xxx
