Vet Maternity Leave Cover
Due to an outbreak of babies, we are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team for Maternity cover with the potential to move to full-time.
About us
Potton Vets is an independent, family-run, full-service veterinary centre. Our friendly team provide quality veterinary care for family pets. Currently we have 5 Vets (3 FTE) 4 RVN’s, 1 student nurse and 3 reception staff.
2025 sees the practice’s 20th anniversary, and exciting times are ahead! We are in the process of having a new practice built and aim to be in later this year. The new practice will allow more space to grow, and it will offer new facilities, such as a separate cat waiting room and separate cat and dog recovery wards, as well as a dedicated imaging room. It really is a great time to join us!
We have no Out of Hours! The practice is open 6 days a week – Monday – Friday 8.30 am – 7 PM and Saturdays 8.30 am – Midday, and clients are directed to Vidi Vet or Vets Now for out-of-hours advice or treatment.
Owned by married couple Alan & Rene, the practice’s focus is not only on exceptional care and professionalism for the animals we treat and clients we serve, but also the welfare of the team. They have created a wonderful team that works collaboratively. Alan & Rene work hard to ensure profits are put back into the practice, meaning we have up-to-date equipment
Outside of work, the team enjoy meeting up for social events such as Christmas parties, axe throwing, punting, shooting and cocktail making, to name but a few! We also have a social WhatsApp group, and normally, silly jokes or funny pictures are shared on here!
